100% of candidates (95.7% provincially) support official legal recognition of water as a human right
100% of candidates (97.3% provincially) said the province's water allocation system should prioritize basic human needs and ecosystem health while respecting treaty obligations to First Nations
86.7% of candidates (88.6% provincially) said that based on their current knowledge they do not favour the province's direction towards a water allocation system which would allocate water based on ability to pay and allow the market to determine access to water resources
96.7% of candidates (90.2% provincially) support broad-based public consultations before new legislation is introduced
